Capture the Cosmos in Tenerife: A Night Sky Photography Adventure Join us for an amazing 5 night, astrophotography adventure in Tenerife. Tuition from award winning photographers Kat Lawman & Gareth Mon Jones This tour is for all levels of photographer but it would be preferable for you to have a basic understanding of how to use your camera in manual mode (ISO, Shutter speed, Aperture) Tenerife beckons Astro photographers with some of the world's clearest skies, offering the perfect opportunity to shoot breath-taking images of the Milky Way, constellations, and celestial wonders over the incredible volcanic landscape. Tenerife also boasts minimal light pollution, especially around Mount Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This translates to vibrant stargazing and unparalleled nightscapes for your photos! We will also include locations to photograph at sunset including Mount Teide Things we will cover: Planning to shoot the stars/milky way- useful apps and tools (Photo pills, Stellarium, Light pollution etc) Choosing the best settings to photograph the stars Manually focusing in the dark- tips and tricks Getting the best composition Single frame and Double frame blended exposure techniques Post processing material (photoshop/lightroom/stacking programs) Equipment you will need: A fairly new DSLR/Mirrorless camera Wide angle lens, suitable for night photography(35mm or wider with aperture of F2.8 or wider)and lens warmer Sturdy Tripod Memory Cards Head torch and spare batteries Camera batteries Thermals, hats, gloves, scarfs, handwarmers - the temperature in Tenerife will drop at night, especially when we are in Teide National Park suitable footwear for hiking Please bring personal water bottle/flask Rucksack Trip will be fully guided and include: Transportation : airport pick ups and drop off at Tenerife South and throughout the workshop Accommodation - Charming villa in an ideal location...single occupancy rooms and all have ensuite Night Photography Tuition provided by Kat & Gareth Teide permits Some meals Not Included: Flights, personal holiday insurance, and meals not stated
